Hi Guys,

I'm experiencing problems with my A16 Ultra, and just want to check with you if anyone knows an easy solution without sending it to FerroFish.
The device has been working great for years, but now the ADAT connectors (out) stopped working, as I don't see any laser comming out of it. No matter if it is in Master or Slave mode.

I bought some Z-LINK cables, to connect it to my Xite1 now, but it doesn't work. In scope the Zlink lights lid, but no sync on the a16 and no sound trough my a16 ins/outs.
Also I noted that there are no Radio selections next to the ZLINK (see attachement).

My last option is to connect BNC to test if that might work.

- Do I need to terminate the BNC coax with a terminator like with the oldskool networks?
- Does anyone had this kind of problem with the a16 before and maybe solved it themselves?

no, you don't need a terminator.
i see that Z-Link is seen by Scope in the samplerate window...

Thanks for your reply. You can ignore the mail sent to you, because it's from me as well.
I've bought some 75 ohm BNC cables, and will check if this still works.
Else I will return the A16 to FerroFish I guess.

BNC/Word Clock is disabled/not used on the A16U when ZLink is used. ZLink handles the clock.
