Scope synths and Cubase insert effects

Hi there !

I have never tried or learned how to use Cubase effects (also 3rd party... vst) on Scope synths.
So far i was just using effects (reverb, eq, compressors...) on scope platform and use it in final mix with Cubase vst instruments.
I'd like to know , if it's possible, how can i connect , for example Scope synths and adding effect in Cubase sequencer (realtime), just like adding effects on vst instruments.

Thanks,
Matej

there are many way, but all involve going back into Cubase.

the easiest way is to just record the synth and then put the fx on it.

you can also route audio to a track in Cubase and then run the audio stream through the FX on a track or bus.

Thanks!
Probably the best way for me then ,recording synth and adding fx later.

This was a loop back on the entire mix but you can do same with individual tracks.

On my latest production I routed Zarg Prowave through a Reason Alligator.

All in real time - no track pre render needed.

Mixed it with the rest of the Reason track, output to Scope for master FX then that entire mix back to Reason for mixdown.

Yep yep yep. Just use ASIO dest. You can have up to 64 channels. I've done it once or twice with UAD effects on the synths.

Dante's way is the best way to go, much better than adding the FX afterwards. I used this method quite a lot.
In terms of the standard effects (delay, compression etc) the Scope ones are much better than steinbergs, but if you want to put your synths through, say some weird Vengeance bundle (Glitch Bitch or PhiltaXL for example) then the Asio Dest is the way to go. And if you were going through these effects, they're best tested in real time, not on your finished recording.

Yes, i already used few times Dante's site to learn few stuff, but i've missed that one :)

I always use scope effects, mastering tools, just sometimes i'm searching for something new, maybe refresh little sounds and so on...
So , i want to play arround scope synths and use vst effect (http://dmitrysches.com/tantra) and want to see/hear how it sounds ;)

I don't think there is such a thing. What are you trying to do?

Ok, I see it. I don't think you necessarily need to use that module. I'll look on my Scope if I have it, but I don't think I've ever seen it or used it. I think it just takes a stereo source and spits out multiple outputs.

I can't find that device anywhere on my Scope 5.1. No idea, give Dante a shout.

Looks like it's a custom module. Look here:
