I've set up my project to work with the larger mixer because I need more channels but the aux effects aren't producing any sound when I activate the pots. I can see the audio signal in the aux mixer but can't hear the effect in the actual channel.

Am I missing something?

Have you been to the bus aux and returns page ?

Yes the green buttons need to be activated, and you must also solo the aux, to hear both the signal and the effect
at the same time.

Just another question:

Why aren't the aux effects audible when you solo a channel. You also have to solo the aux channel to hear it. Makes things awkward.

You've got to switch on "defeat" button aux channel, all 'defeat on' channels remain audible when you solo any other channel.

Defeat doesn't work I'm afraid.

You've got to switch on defeat button on the aux channel you want to hear when you solo any channel which use this aux.
Did you do that ? And it doesn't work ? It works pretty well, here.

Ye it seems to work sometimes without defeat. Maybe it's the project.
