VCA Control for SCOPE is it possible?

Request a new device/modular module, and hope that some enterprising developer grants your wish!

VCA Control for SCOPE is it possible?

Post by mausmuso »

With VCA control being the thing in the latest sequencers, I was wondering whether (using ScopeSync) we could VCA control faders in a scope mixer.
I envisage a VCA group fader in the sequencer outputting via ScopeSync to a module of some description that then controls one or more faders in a mixer.
Maybe it would not have the resolution of VCA but would be useful I think.

I think scope sync will have the resolution, but the sample rate will be a little slower. This means those attacks might not be so snappy if needed.

However, there's no need to use scope sync for the VCA signals, you can send audio directly from you daw (you should look at stretta's cv modules, or the silent way VST, or any other audio signal instead of control signal as VCA).
