How do you save a preset properly in a synth, for instance?

I save them in a new folder but they don't hold the values I set.

I name the preset file with the devices name first, and put them all in the same scope/preset folder.

I even have both my XITE and the PCI system pointed to the same preset folder, to keep them all in one place.

When I reinstall the computer I just copy paste the preset folder with all my golden presets.


It's a mess, but it works.
