VDat is amazing!! Sorry I had to say it again. It's so useful to me.

just curious, can you explain how you use it? I've always found it cumbersome rather than just recording into a DAW.

I stream the ASIO Outs into my Scope mixer then I use my beloved scope plugins.
I stream the mix into VDat. I also do it for stems, though I have to pan the channels into stereo for stereo input signals. It always gives me what I hear. Daw recording maybe no different but I question when the integer domain gies back into float.

So then is the .wav file from VDAT your final mix?

i think I might experiment with it a little more then since I have heard others praise it's sound quality.
Time to read a little.

Yes it's wav. The downside is that you can't record stereo but you can create the stereo file if you pan each mono channel respectively. You can also export the files in a DAW or editor.

Try recording directly into VDat from an external source and you'll be amazed.

Scope is still a great platform for me and I hope she survives. I've always like the quality of the converters.
