Open GL

Some programs plugins tell me my Graphics card doesn't support Open GL but they do. Is there a way to check how to activate them?

Check if your graphics card has the latest drivers.
If it has I would contact Nugen.

Read around and somebody suggested if 2 monitors were used. I set the graphics card to use just one monitor and it worked.

Any ideas? Graphics are a weak point when it comes to audio IMO.

Hi Guys, by trial I've found out the problem. The Dual Monitors were set to 16 bit. Changing the graphics card settings to 32 Bit fixed the problem.

Do graphics cards benefit from 32 bit? I thought it created a CPU overhead?

there once was a time when it might have been a good idea to hobble(severely limit) the video card, but that was like...win98 days...

32 bit has a bigger color space (wider gamut), 4,294,967,296 colors. The plug-in GUI probably is using gradations and transparencies that "need" it. 32 bit needs more memory and more intensive processing but today's video cards can handle it easily. A game might push things over the edge but for audio and plug-in graphics, no problem. Newer VSTs may be written this way if the GUI is really detailed out. Just heavy cosmetics. Good to have the pretty much standard 2GB on the video card these days even for one monitor as resolution capabilities are really high on newer monitors. U-He plug-ins like Diva and Presswerk have several hundred png files just for the GUI! They need somewhere to live!
