NI Kontakt 5 Standalone crash

The standalone version of Kontakt 5.4.1.211 is causing an immediate blue screen crash on startup / ASIO driver select on my computer.
All the other NI standalone executables work fine.

Can anyone else confirm this error..?

(Using latest version of Scope software)

5.41.211 stand alone works fine on SCOPE ASIO on my 32 bit SCOPE PCI setup.
The install keeps failing for me on my XITE 64Bit machine, so I cannot test that one as yet.

Ok, thanks Maus.

I forgot to mention that I'm on Windows 8.1 - 64bit.

I uninstalled Kontakt 5 and reinstalled from disc - version 5.0.0 which works in standalone.
Then I updated to 5.4.1 again via Service Center (as administrator), and this version crashes as before.
So I uninstalled again and tried a manual install from the downloaded setup exe, which prompts these messages:

"runtime error in install : list index out of bounds (0)"
"access violation at address 64E03F45"

Seems messy, I will probably contact NI support.

I can confirm the latest Kontakt both standalone and Cubase 7 hosted works here under Win 8.0 and Win 8.1 x64 on both Scope Xite and PCI 64 bit.

On two machines.

Scope install or Kontakt install ? Have you turned off DEP, Driver signing etc ?

Yeah I figured it out after scratching my bald head for a while.
