Yes you can, but it's not worth the trouble, i assure you.

Even with Pulsar2 it's not worth the trouble.

I only use the XTC mode for mixdowns in VST.
e.g. the fine pulsar EQs/Comps and the Masterverb.
But I NEVER use VSTi's.
