Scope PCI Installation problem

Hi folks , wonder if anyone knows about this ?
Installing Scope 5.1 32bit on my Win7 system.
"Setup , unable to execute file :
C:\Program Files\Scope PCI\App\VST Plugins\Setup VSTIMScopePci.exe
Create process failed 14001 :
The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect"
What the ??
Suggestions welcome

...hmmm , maybe not a problem as such... perhaps an XTC type issue ? installation completed and all appears ok so far ...

yes, it's an XTC setup issue, at least from the description.

Thanks Gary , yes all appears ok with the installation .. + I'm staying with 32 bit for now vs 64 bit . cheers , Michael

you used the 32bit installer, right?
(i'd think you must have, to have a working setup, but....)

Yes that's right ...seems most of my win xp toys are working on it too , which is nice

yes, so is win8. you have a choice.
