Creamware A16 Ultra - loose power plug - easy repair?

I have purchased a second hand Creamware A16 Ultra. The power plug in the converter appears to be loose, so the plug from the power adapter needs to be set really precise - or the unit looses power. Does anyone here have experience with this? If so: Has it been an easy repair?

Ok, after talking to the seller, I opened the unit, and the plug sits perfectly tight in on the print. So the power adapter is under suspicion. The seller was not the first owner, so he is not sure, if the power adapter was original. As far as I can measure, the adapter has a 5 mm plug. And since this one sits loose, I wonder if it should have been wider? Can anyone confirm the with of your A16 Ultra power adapter plugs?

Hmm, I have a 5,5*2,1 mm plug from another adaptor. It fits better, but I can not use it, as that adapter provides a different power than needed by the A16U.

Immanuel, i had intended to answer your question in the email to support, but since it's here too, i'll just answer here.

contact Ferrofish. they own the rights toi the A16 name and design(Juergen is the owner of Ferrofish and he's the A16 designer). they can sell you the proper power supply and they also repair the old A16 Ultras. www.ferrofish.de
