Just re-install them the way you did in 8.0.

with Win8 64bit, sfp 5.1 and ableton .
and i did it .. i installed the 8.1 update .. now my scopes don't want their drivers.
If i run the sfp setup as admin i get:

windows8 requires you to turn off driver signing when installing. you had to do this to install the driver in win8 the first time.
my usual cut-n-paste:
windows 8 requires the driver to be signed by microsoft. the Scope driver isn't signed so you must turn off the "feature" that requires this. here are two easy methods to install the driver. i prefer the second one in the link.

You can permanently enable Test Mode by opening an Elevated Command Prompt and typing the following commands, then rebooting:
bcdedit -set loadoptions DISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS
bcdedit -set TESTSIGNING ON

hit enter after each command. to open an elevated command prompt, use these instructions:
http://pcsupport.about.com/od/windows-8 ... dows-8.htm
To turn it off again, use these commands:
bcdedit -set loadoptions ENABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS
bcdedit -set TESTSIGNING OFF

here is a second way to enter test mode:
