How to install the synths?

This is embarrassing, but it has been a long time since I've used my Scope cards since I mainly use a Mac and they are in a PC. I bought the Zarg package but I forgot how to install the synths. Can someone explain what to do with the files and how to install? Thank you.

Just unzip the files, and you'll see SCOPE/(bunch of directories).

Copy that (bunch of directories) into your SCOPE install directory. Which should be in

C:\Program Files\SCOPE\
or
C:\SFP

If you still have a hard time running it, right-click on the icon you use to start up scope, and select properties. the "Target" will show the path where the app is installed, and you just remove the "App\bin" part of it, and that's your install directory.

the folders that all the components are in(zip folders) have subfolders that are named the same as folders in your Scope installation. the simplest solution(a bit more tedious) is to just copy from the unzipped file's folders into the corresponding folders in the Scope installation on the c: drive. the synth device goes in Scope\devices\synths.

I've found the Zarg devices install by default in the Plug-Ins directory and menu, so don't worry if you don't find them in Synths.

Thanks for all the help. Everything is working fine.
Just one question. Where do the files in the Zarg 64bit folder go? They are .sys files, but I'm not sure where to put them.

you have a 64bit system?

sys files always go in the sys folder, whether a 32 or 64bit system. Scope\app\sys.....
