I'll be Damned, it's a book on the history of S|C, straight Up.
The header talks about the insolvency and rebirth.

Nice Find Guppy.....

Very cool. For 2 reasons :

Firstly, saves me having to write it in ScopeRise (now I only have to write ABOUT it).

Secondly, I just ordered my copy from Fishpond

i wonder if Holger knows about this. i wonder if this person has any real knowledge and why they wrote the book. it seems pretty pricey. it must have a lot of juicy stuff to be worthwhile reading for the public...

$24 bucks pricey ?

I have no doubt the same producer of the 'Jobs' movie could make just as good a biographical flick about Holger

Not sure about Ashton Kutcher in the lead role though - lame. Tom Cruise has the German accent down from Valkyrie - but nah - I'd cast Daniel Craig - much more convincing as a European entrepreneur.

Ok - ok - how's this one....... Bill Murray as John Bowen.

Looks like another coup of these 2 gentlemen that appear as the authors/editors.

Have a look at their reputation and you get the impression they are looking for those 'suckers born every minute' to buy unsolicited and not authorized collections of public available articles in wikipedia.

No need to wet pants in my humble opinion.

peace Niko

edit: You were 5 minutes faster W_ellis ;-)

I'll wait for a report from Dante.
But it appears to have some legitimacy as they are discussing a movie.
It has brought the attention of former COS Dick Cheney as he attempts to remain relevant.
Offering his talents to play the part of John Bowen.

even Holger was surprised.

there is not enough public information to write a two page book, let alone a 112 page thriller.

That's very strange that even Sonic Core themselve don't know about it :)
Maybe the manual in 3 languages
Maybe 112 pages of using tips :)

The Authors could've atleast waited until after SCOPE 6 was released so that the book could tell about more, and have more of a story.

Well, 50% of ScopeRise is from PlanetZ content... not that that means you'd necessarily pay for it, but the distillation process can count. But I'm really interested in outsider's views on Scope (if any).

And if the book is a rip-off, I can still write an article about it ... LOL !

This is from the link w_ellis posted above:
All of Bookvika's titles are copied from Wikipedia using automated software, usually without any subsequent editing of Wikipedia content.
So the software probably simply started with the Sonic Core article and travelled recursively through the links of the article...

yes, it can't be either good or informative.

any fact in it would need to be verified before believed. afai can tell, the writers have no connection to Sonic|Core in any way. it's doubtful if they even know what a Sonic|Core is.

in the words of the wicked witch of the west,

"what a world! what a world!"
