I need to change my keyboard too, and I am wondering about the game keyboards to be used and adapted for multimedia and music creation. Perhaps using their macros and staff like that applied to our music studio programs could work wonders, I don't know. Which is your experience on this?
Most keyboards today doesn't make me fill confortable, long ago IBM were amazing, then Logitech, but today I don't know what to get...

I've thought about using gamer keyboards. I've tried steelseries that my cousin had, and that keyboard felt awesome! I mean, for audio I guess it's not as critical, like with coding. I was thinking of using gaming keyboards to code.
But what I tested for was for the feel of the keys, so I don't know about macro capabilities.

They are used in a way in which keys are meant to be closer to each other than normal to achieve faster movements. I have big hands, so I don’t know about that.
I think I would prefer mechanical ones, old IBM style, they were so reliable and felt so well in your hands. There is a Seelseries keyboard out there, pretty good, but did not type on it yet, I only know about it through its specifications:

Wow, this is what I call antiergonomic design!

Do people really work with it?
