This is my first device using the SDK. There's probably some kinks and wrinkles to be addressed, so please leave a comment if you find something :-)

It's really not anything new, as it's based heavily on the Arp Odyssey. Also, I have no access to atoms in SDK 5.1, so I had to make do with what was available as modules.

Sharc has been very helpfull, and made a sample&hold module for me. Hats off!

Anyway, have at it and please leave comments and ideas (I already have a few). It should work all the way back to Scope 4.0. I had it running on a Luna II card with 3 voices.

Regards
Søren

Excellent sounds and great presets.
I am automating it now using Modular LFO to MIDI patches by brotha' man at0m.
The way I can store Voices per preset is appreciated as this is a great little mono/poly synth.
I'd love to see some Traingle LFOs to use with the PWM for that semi-rough edge.

Awesome Gift

Forgot to mention:

I made a layout for iPad app "TB MIDI Stuff", so you can sit at the keyboard with your iPad and program the synth. I've attached the file, in case any of you folks use that app. On that note, I can't wait till SDK6 gets to a usable point, so we can start implementing OSC :-)

The layout (or page as I think it's called) is not comprehensive, but most things are there. Anyway you can easily edit/add in the app (one of the things I really like about it).

Also the synth (and this page) follows the the way cc-messages are set up for the Prodyssey. So you could program the synth from the hardware Prodyssey (not sure that would make sense thou :-))

The page is attached.

You can change the number og voices, by clicking on the number and drag up or down. I get three voices on a Luna2 card. I havent tested max numbers on the XITE :-)

I see. I used to play an ARP2600 duo phonic.
Just tested it, at least 12 voices in a basic Scope template.(Which you can make cheaper in DSP usage).

I got 5800 as a value in the XITE-1 DSP usage with 7 Voices as I prefer staying on a single DSP chip.
But I can get many more voices as it spans across the DSPs.
It seems well optimized and it sounds nice plus it's a different kind of beast.
Adds diversity to the collection.

Thanks Again

Thank you for this great synth! I like the ARP style. Nice job on the presets too (love the synth strings preset). I wish the MIDI channel and polyphony didn't change back to the default settings every time I switched a preset. I look forward to your future work.

Thanks for the nice comments :-)

53E7 - you should be able to save the presets with the changes you make. Voices and midi channel are saved with the presets.

I did notice that. Just for future projects, it is nice to scroll through presets while a sequence is running to audition presets, so keeping the MIDI channel and poly the same nice to have (and most Scope synths do have that ability).
