For me, this solaris is more a toy for people who have massive sparetime to play on a massive but impressive synth, that makes you feel sitting in a spaceship, flying to next pulsar....If you want to make music, you need 99,6% bread and butter sounds, but notthe sizzle and bruuuuhhhf and booing.....maybe for millionaires who are bored from all the young girls just want to make sex for getting a better richer life.

I don't make bread and butter music so I don't need bread and butter sounds. I'm not a millionaire either, I just have a dayjob like everyone else and make music in the weekends. Aren't all (electronic)music instruments toys for grownups?

are you sure, Anabella?
My guess is you need those for bread and butter
music.

Envy is the best form of flattery, and the demos from Solaris guys are all different showing the versatility and the continuing depth achieved from DSP chips.
Believe it or not, it has a few small bugs too just like the cards, but at the forum, there's no frothing or voices from the Peanut Gallery.
Nice demos again wouterz.
Get Toby Emersons presets from Event Horizon fame, 128 free, many w/ no FX since little masking is required.
Sista' Women Anabella,
You'd love a Solaris, surely in Germany there must be a way to borrow the money from the Government since it's taken from the citizens for redistribution processes. In this case it's spent in Germany too, maybe a grant for study, or something.
Imagine if there were EBT cards where you could have automatic payments taken monthly, and then eat for free by walking into the dock area of any corporation where there is an employees cafeteria, then pretend to be a visiting Audio Engineer fixing the convention room PA, and feast until the Solaris is paid for.
I did this here in Vegas to save more money, than at night hung out at the Gay bars where the drinks were free.
Where there's a will there's a way.....

Jimmy any way to use the hardware presets in the software version ?
It's good to put some hot sauce on bread and butter

Ok your right, I produce a lot of commercial music, in this area you need mosttime the bread and buttet, and this is not my fault. When I produce my own ideas, I have a Solaris 5.0 Plugin and many Controllers connected to scope, with a good assignement to the weels and knobs between my hands.

BTW is this only a little solaris compared to the hardwaresolaris? Or is it 50%

the same or

90%????
For me this is a wellness-synthesizer, good for recreation.....

No can do brotha' man.
They are actually 2 different beasts.
However, you can add Bowens Rotor Inserts for getting 4 Oscillators, 2 of them samples, and 2 of them Waldorf Wavetables, then add FX and modulations.
