My 7 zip app is wierd.
After un zipping twice I saw the 4 x seperate sys. files and yes they work here.
But I think I found the original problem
With the sys. files from the original app. there was also a new driver to install.
Thoses who didn't install that new driver might have run into trouble.
But your sys. files fixed that too, so now I have 2 methods that work.

Cheers

Hi guys,

I also have a problem with the Tape Delay Modules.
First it was the missing dsp/sys files, than i downloaded the new sys files and replaced the old ones.
Result was scope crashing and taking my whole system down when a Tape Delay module was opened.
I than removed the M4Tapedalay sys files, and reinstalled Modular 4, now the modules can be loaded, but a strange artificial sound is introduced with them.......

I run Scope in Administration mode, and have the search options set right.

What could cause the problem?

Dati.
Before I went to x64 the files were fine, but then I went to x64 and needed the package below that was sent to me.
There's a new driver that has to be installed, as well as the sys. and mdl's.
It can't hurt to try this, even though it is old.

This is how I currently use them and yes they are finnicky, but once set up right, I absolutely suggest using a pair of them, even 2 x short and 2 x regular Tape Delays in serial fashion.

Good Luck, and let us know if this works.

I am using 32bit Scope 5.1 as well. I never tried tape delay in Modular IV until today. When I tried it I experienced the same problem you have been having. I easily resolved the problem by downloading dawnman's files and installing them. Place the files tapeDelay.sys and tapeDelayShort.sys in the following path:

Scope PCI or XITE/App/Sys

Core, old thread.

Same problem here. I downloaded the zip file. It works, but only have tapedelay working. as it contains only 3 .sys and the tapedelayshort.sys is missing.

Does anyone please have the tapedelayshort.sys file as the other link in this thread that would probably have it doesn’t work. (32bit)
