The new Kinect for Windows will be a lot more accurate. Good news for musicians. Expect some nice apps.

Here's what a friend of mine is doing.
Pretty simple, but effective.

There's also other tech. Out there that's WAY faster and deeper than what even the new Kinekt can do, so expect more developments in this area.

Great inventor. Looking forward to see what he does with the new Kinect!

I actually think ergonomically it's pretty bad, and it's pretty scaled back from what other developer friends of mine in LA are working on -
Can't say much more than that at this time :)

Leap is very cool, but researchers are finding that there is too much latency for doing music.

This could be related, when I use my Wacom Bamboo in iZotope Iris, it is unbearably slow. When the Bamboo is used in a normal graphics program, there is no noticeable latency.

OT, but there's that music track again, so-o funky!
I remember it from your (a) former post, isn't it?
Swing time combined with a nice 8/8 time, just so musical.

I use swing a lot. It makes quantizing sound less robotic.
