I just realized there is new version for the stereo equalizer in the "Dna mastering pack" zip file. I installed it. I can see new solo buttons but no link one... Or very well hidden ?
It's a bit a pity, for me... Most of the time, I have the same settings for the left & the right ; and with a button, one would have the choice.

Do you think, dear RA, you will implement it in this very good eq ?

Hi Jopo,

i will look into this, and think about it. I actually did this on purpose, since it forces you in
tuning both sides optimal....if you are recording/mixing stereo, both sides have different
instruments/spectrum, and thus benefit from seperate optimal eq.

For example drumrecordings, with hihat more placed at the right...but the ride (placed left) could
use a little high-end. It is feasible that the hihat will get to bright or gets pulled out of balance
if you eq both LR the same.

Ra ! You may start to think I'm a pain in the arse and I'm very sorry..! But when I link left & right on the stereo eq, the left high mid gain knob is linked to the right low mid gain ; the left low mid and the right high mid gain are not linked to their twin... The frequency knobs behave normaly and the low & high gain too.

I made several test. Maybe someone else could have a try ?

Edit: tonight i tried some phantompanning with the optimus prime, and some early reflections for maybe mastering....just liven it up.
The panning with delays is really mindboggling process .
Listen to it on a monotrack....see your meters.....and it pans....without the meters changing....your brain interprets the delayed channel as placement.
Nice for live maybe...people standing by one of the speakers won't have anything change in the mix for them...but, it's a delay, so maybe for transient sounds a little time correction....just a touch

The delayed panning is similar to Ambiophonics, a technique that places stereo speakers very close together, but can still achieve a very wide stereo field...great for live setup in limited spaces.
