what am i doing wrong? i linked pulsar midi source with secuencer midi dest, seq midi source with pulsar synthi midi-in.
then the out l/r with the in's of asio2-dest
"asio2-32 source64" with pulsar analog out.
well, i get a midi signal, but i neither can hear anything nor i could record anything in vst, the recorded wav is just quiet.
and another problem: when i have 2 seq. midi sources (1 and 2) and link them with 2 differnt synthis, why do both sources affect one synthi and not seperate ones like i want to?
sorry, i am a newbie and i guess my problems are silly, lol. but i didnt find anything in the manuals =( could someone help me?

I'm not sure if this will help because you didn't mention what platform you're running Pulsar on.... anyway, on my Mac, I can't use the built-in midi connectors (hardware), OMS doesn't recognise them... so I had to revert back to using my serial Midi interface...
Hope this might help you trouble shoot.

I checked on MAC with Luna and OMS see the Luna midi I/O and it work with Cubase.
I'm sure Pulsar midi woks also with MAC.
Anyway, have you tried use ASIO16 or other ASIO?
Just to be sure, have you choose "ASIO Scope" in the Audio System configuration?

yes, i tried several asio versions in pulsar and the scope is in the vst settings.

(and why are several midi channels in vst merged to just one synthi channel in pulsar, even if they are linked with different sequencer midi sources?)
..
ok.. midi must be the problem, cuz i dont receive a signal in pulsarsoftware from the "sequencer midi source" - neither with nor without midi through option in vst (vst itself receives the signal though)
any ideas?

ok... i guess i have to live with the fact, that i cant record midi and listen via asio at the same time
but one last question: how can i use more than 2 midi channels? (when i use sequencer midi source 1&2 then i can only use different synthies, when i use the exits "pulsar2 midi 1 (or 2)"... but just two channels are definitely not enough) is there any solution?

If you have two midi source modules you have 32 midi channels not 2. You must be using it in omni mode. Where it says all you can change it to 1-16.

i guess i don't understand what you're trying to do. midi is data. midi is not audio, it makes no sound.you can listen to the playback of a synth controlled by midi in realtime no problem.........you can also listen to audio tracks while recording midi. if you are trying to hear the synth controlled by midi while midi is being recorded, why not connect to a mixer in pulsar and then monitor that mixer via audio out?
