Hi.

Just like you to tell me what you feel with my music... I am so shy !

Every tracks are Scope mixed via Xite & pci.

I try to do the best with mixing but it's hard to get sound as good as it is in my brain. Music is a hobby. When it sounds allmost nice in my little home studio, it often sounds bad anywhere else, don't hesitate to fiddle with some eq...

This is extremely good.
I listened 5 or 6 tracks.
A groove after all.
Could easily be played by SomaFm.
Not that the mixes are highlights, but the style is there, and some don't like more.
No tricks? :o
What's your working proces? Sample sources?

Zzzz.....now.

Great stuff, well done! Hope you are proud.
Lots of groove, funk, jazzed-up goodness. Very well put together too.

Can I ask, what you using for the brass, especially the harmon muted trumpet?

Thanks a lot !

For electric piano, I use applied Lounge Lizard EP-3 and now EP-4 (which I find awesome even if it's not a real one or dsp's, only a poor simple vst plugin...).
Horns are from Chris Hein in kontakt. Eanna -> you can buy instrument separatly.
The powercore Virus and fx.
Bass are from Scarbee for electrics & ChrisHein for upright nylon.
Voices are all from Tonehammer.
Congas from Natural Drum. Drums sounds are BFD2 + a big cymbal collection.
Omnisphere is much present too. All these in Cubase 5.
These are the main things which I use. And of course a lot of others...

I mix thru Xite with all kind of eq, compressor... And PsyQ, brainworx bx2, optimaster for mastering (try).
I own pci card since, I think, 1999 or maybe 98. As soon as it was released ! It's a guy in a music shop who advised me about Creamware product (the one with 4 dsp), I was looking for the best pc sampler. A beginning of a long story. With nice and bad moments.

I make maximalist music, inverse of minimalist music... I like baroque ! Not only in music !
My dream since I was a child (start to play recorder at 6 and then saxo alto at 8, it's the same fingering but my arms were too small when I was 6 for low sax notes) is to control every instruments. It becames possible thank to computers when I was already an adult ! Impossible for me to live without music.
