Scope upgrade problem

Hi guys,
I'm afraid I have not really a technical problem, but more an administrative one I guess.

On the 26th last month I purchased in the Sonic Core shop an upgrade from Scope 5 to Scope 5.1. I've mainly done this as I've only just upgraded my system to Win7 64bit and therefore need the keys to run my 14dsp card.

Unfortunately, since purchasing the software and sending my serial to Sonic Core I've yet to receive... well, ANYTHING!

Money was taken out of my account on the 28th, so they obviously have that side working. And I've had several "we've received your email, don't worry" emails to my requests for updates as well as the initial order conformation mail, so they also have my correct contact details, but as for keys that I've purchased; Nothing.

I know SC have been in NAMM, as well as the fact that they program all the keys themselves and they have a small staff so I completely understand a delay of a few days, but almost two weeks without contact is quite frankly, terrible.

I've been a long time Creamware and Sonic Core user (about 14 years or so) and used this company for almost all my productions. I've built my studio around the whole system so when they fail to deliver, my workflow suffers and as such so does my income. I really want to support SC, I really do, but this really makes me look at alternatives rather than investing in an Xite and the company further. Maybe they don't even want my custom? then again, they seem happy to take my money regardless. It sucks because I WANT to say good things about the company, I WANT to promote them and I don't know if I can realistically do that now.

Am I missing something here? was there a link I missed when ordering the software? I'm perfectly willing to believe I've just made a mistake, I just want to get back to my work and not have 2 weeks of time (or, god forbid, longer!) completely wasted.

Any suggestions and help would be greatly appreciated!

It's annoying but unfortunately not unusual behavior.

I don't believe you should worry however. SonicCore will deliver in time, they don't have a habit of cheating people.

I entered the same boat, althought it didn't pass so long till today, but I'm also without money, answers and keys.

It's unfortunate as SC are obviously wanting to be taken seriously as an pro audio company and as competition for other systems of this nature, but this kind of lack of professionalism and care for their existing customer base really makes me want to discontinue using their products.

Thinking about it, even if they put a small bit of information on the site or within their confirmation emails that "sorry, we're human, busy and underpaid so getting you the product you just bought might take a couple of weeks of processing", it would prepare people for the amateurish vacuum of business sense and drive that I, and obviously others, have had to endure.

I believe the phrase is something like: "Under-promise and Over-deliver".

I guess I'll continue window shopping for alternative systems until my keys turn up then... Any suggestions would be greatly received.

Garyb, are usually kind to help people in your situation.

Give him a few hours to wake up, and he will prolly respond to this thread.

It's just so frustrating to have my hands tied when I have clients waiting on me.

Hopefully it can be resolved soon!

As luck would have it, as soon as I posted that last comment I received the Scope 5.1 keys!

Thank you Sonic Core. But I really do hope they manage to adjust their policies in some way so that they at the very least, keep in contact with their customers. I hope to use their products for years to come, if only they would let me!

so, RESOLVED! (for me at least, hopefully your keys are on the way too Ripper)

I'm glad they solved your thing. Mine is still unsolved, but now I know things are rolling over and my turn will come. I'm not in a hurry, the only thing was the lack of answers.
