Blank the screen

Anybody else turn their screen to blank when they are making music? When I make some changes to the arrangement and want to listen to the result I press a shortcut key which starts a screensaver that blanks the screen. Also when I try out different arrangements on the fly using track mutes to see if the elements work well together. That way I can focus on the sound instead of staring at level meters, song position displays, or anything else that moves on the screen. Must be a left brain vs right brain kind of thing.

Makes sense if you're using controllers. Otherwise just close your eyes - although you have to overcome the temptation to peek

And she doesn't even shut her eyes when she does it...

Old Cubase VST had a function for that in one of the menus.
I used it often, as I always peeked when not using it
