If you think we've had it all someone crosses another border.
Nitro with Michael Angelo Batio:

just on two necks, but also impressive:

Tapping, taking overs from both hands, upside down, etc.
And obvious quotes from Hendrix, Akkerman, Led Zep, etc.
Funny guys, those hardworking hardrock guitarists :D

My Bassist was singing lead vox with him in video one.....
Great stuff.
2nd video was cool, but the drummer had some really nice stick spins, super fast and flashy too, and some folks cry about showmenship, etc. But this is the stuff that sells, especially if the players are live and not using their laptops..

Overall I gave up on most of the gymnastic players 25 years ago.
NO expression whatsoever.

There ARE tons of younger speed players that dance circles around these other players, while still maintaining some sort of emotional movement rather than just glorified masturbationary playing.

I spotted a tight 11/8 also - or was it in one of the other clips of the guy a friend did show me?
I always love hearing different time stamps.

Saw the second video too now. Yes, it is impressive. I can enjoy it like I enjoy sports. Really nice flipping damping capo device he has there too. I was wondering, how he could control the double tapping till I noticed it.

well, the origanl band was Nitro, but if you mean guitar brands, i think there have been some copycat versions of MAB's axes. they're really his own twisted brain's designs.

no, I mean the brand of the capo :D

twisted brain, that must be, as he has fully functional left and right brain sides, and that in kinda 3 dimensional way, as he can play crosswise also with fingers upside down on the guitar neck :o

Actually, crossing the arms, when playing on the left side makes it easier, because each hand gets a task which is closer to the usual thing.
