So Cubase 7 will be out in a few days. The upgrade from Cubase 6.5 is $149 (same for download as boxed).

They totally changed the look of the mixer with channel strips to copy SSL. Among other features, I am interested in the plugin VST connect SE which allows you to jam with musicians over the internet similar to NINJAM. There is a free version for the person on the other side who does not own Cubase.

"Bulletproof ASIO-Guard" would be helpful for many Scope PCI card users.

I just bought the update from 5.5 to 6.5 and then I get 7 for free. I probably won't actually use them until I get a Windows 7 machine though, but I like to save money on the full price.
