i receive pci overflow when i work with pulsar 204a with sts5000 and only one tw reverb.
and crackless
my config.
asus p3bf pIII 650 512 Md ram g400 matrox
adaptec 29160 scsi with ibm hd

i hope that with my next config. piii1000 over tusl 2 c and (maeby) ata100 7200 rpm my problem disappears

Probably the SCSI card which eats PCI bandwidth for dinner stealing the meal from Pulsar...

Try raising "PCI Latency Timer" in your bios to 64 or 128, and via the drivers, turning down the throughput of your SCSI device to 10-40mb/sec.
