No XITE-1 in audio interface? Tut. Mind you, there isn't really a proper category for XITE anyway, Studio In A Box perhaps?

The Apollo is there under audio interfaces, no reason for XITE-1 not to be there except bias.

not enough people using it compared to the cheaper cards on there

and uad are most probably one of the sponsors

but its only been out for a little while so they must still be people who are the beta testers

like all new products released

the consumer is the bugs testers

the blofeld even tho been out for a few years now still has issues with buggy software as did all there synths

and promises that never came about which were going to be implemented and they sell these things as though its going to happen

Yeah, I voted "None" as a protest vote. :D Bias was why I stopped buying SOS years ago, but that won't stop me trying to get £14,000 out of them.

No Brainer as it is really under priced for what it does.

Bump ! This is important if Solaris votes are the key to subverting the biases of the gear press, if only by a fraction of a percent. At least pissing in the wind is better than letting it blow you away.

And it is a damn good synth.

You had me for a minute.
Even if a Schmidt were on there, its a great synth for 25 large, but it still won't do what Solaris can.
No synth on that list or in the Stores can do this.........

Yeah man ...

I like all the demos you did w/ Solaris and I always come back also to this site to have a listen again,-

http://greatsynthesizers.com/test/john- ... ebenswerk/

The report is in german unfortunately,- but scrolling down the site leads to the demo clips.

It´s a fine keyboard instrument for sure and I want one,- if there weren´t all the payments I have to go thru ´til end of this year.
But I expect I can make it 1st half of 2013, maybe somewhere after Musikmesse.
I´m curious for any news @winter NAMM and Musikmesse related to Solaris, SCOPE 6 and the Physis Piano, which is the only gear I´m interested in for the future.

That's a great read. Glad you put the English link !

It reminded me - sound musicality and performance. A thoroughbred evolution of the best technologies from the last few decades but devoid of their shortcomings. Even the octave button reveals a hidden feature.

The very reasons that Solaris should win the comp are all summed up in that review.

The Assign Buttons and 5 performance buttons under the main screen are pretty tits too.
For example each Assignment 1 & 2 button is really cool if you assign them each an Oscillator Glide on toggle.
Straight perfectly tuned Oscilators, detuend by the ribbon, then individually add more oscillator glide with these buttons. Nothing else like it.
The 5 assignment buttins are your favorite little tweaks in realtime during that particular preset, and can very from pre 2 pre, endless assignments.
These are great realtime tricks not found on any synths I am aware off.
