Borderlands Granular Synth for ipad

Anyone try this yet? It's pretty fun, very futuristic looking and uses the touch screen effectively, although I am an ipad newbie so it's entirely possible there's a zillion equally cool apps like this out already. One drawback is you can only import the sound files thru itunes. Practical applications?.......well hmmm

Don't have an iPad but I read about that yesterday and it is something iPad users can have a blast with. Wish I had this stuff when I was a kid.

I noticed it, too - but as I already have at least half a dozen 'granular' apps, I didn't attract me.
But it seems to be sold very well... maybe I'll give it a shot anyway.
A must-have for synth fans is Wolfgang Palm's PPG Wave generator - holy crap

imho the best synth engine on the iPad so far and a great user interface.
Makes Wavetable synthesis understandable (and touchable) like never before.
There's an intro trilogy by Wolfgang himself on YouTube, check it out ...

cool......yup.sheesh thanks now I have to go buy that! That one looks a little more practical and only just a little more $

yeah, he still is THE man for that stuff...
Borderland reminds me a lot on Curtis, it's more sound atmosphere on the noisy side
