Intel DP35DP drivers in Windows 7 64-bit

I know that this question is not related to Scope or any Creamware/SonicCore products specifically but since the Intel DP35DP is somewhat of a recommended reference mobo for Creamware/SonicCore cards and since Windows 7 64-bit is the new standard I guess it's important to get all of this running - so it's not irrelevant to what we do here.
My question is: Has anyone managed to fully install the DP35DP mobo drivers in Windows 7 64-bit? By "fully" I mean: To get rid of that "IDE Simple Communications... " ... whatever... device that pops up in the device manager as an uinstalled device after the Windows installation finishes. From that I can gather it's the onboard audio chip and other onboard stuff that are handled by this device but it seems like there are no 64-bit drivers for this (not on the Intel site anyway).
Have anyone of you solved this? Or is it solved by a complementary Windows update after the initial Windows installation? Since I'm having other Scope 5.1 trouble related to Windows 7 64-bit at the moment I want to rule out the mobo drivers as a potential error source.
Thanks,
Tomas
