MCCY FIlters

I have been messing with MCCY Filters and plan on automating a pair of the Mono devices but I am seeing several mdl. files numbering 1-15 and 1-23 along with some Flexor SHapers 1-9.

Does anyone know how these are suppose to be installed...?
Should I place them in the App/Dsp folders or something...?

The sheer number of devices he made are astounding with very few duds. I am hoping to incorporate some of these choice devices, especially the Filters that avoid sounding like Combs when modulated in realtime....

Thanks

Those 1-15 devices etc. I have listed as Tools (Legacy) as they are a pain to load. All they are Aux Inserts with loads of effects inserts. Anything with .mdl should be treated as a device and put in you devices folder. I don't think you need them. I never heard of the FleXor modules (except with FleXor devices of course).

Avoid adding anything to the DSP files until you open a device that asks for files you haven't got. Here's how I arrange my devices to make life easy when re-installing - all standard and bought devices end up in the regular places, all freebies and legacy devices end up in _Synths_, _Effects_ etc. keeping them separate from the main devices. They can then be easily copied from an archive after a fresh install.

Ankyu.
Now I remember what these were for. When you load them into a project window, they look like devices, but they have no GUI and I suppose are used as Inserts into that Device you are showing.
Could you link me to that one, as I believe it's a Multi Insert, and I have overlooked it.
The Flexor Shapers are meant to be inserted into these slots I believe.
I will give them to you if you want.

I asked the silly question as I remember having to load an mdl. once in the DSP folder to get some Stecki thing working, but I can't remember why it had to be done that way....

Cheers.

If you go to ScopeRise Issue 14 all the free devices I could find are there - it's listed under the "Scope Tools" tab, Derknott>Knotts (various devices) - inside you'll find a folder called Helper. Be warned - when you open these you end up in what appears to be a recursive loop of the device looking for a preset file, not able to open it - for a bout four times then it's OK. If you create a preset file called AUXknott.pre it will be OK next time (well you'll see a little 'flutter' of graphics).
