Cable tidy /organising

Post by fraz »

Hi,

I'll really need to get everything as tidy as possible cable wise - my setup won't be anywhere nearly as big as some of you others on here but its like cables everywhere so what do you folks use to keep a certain level of organisation? - couple of nice pics wouldn't go amiss then I'll look into that next. Thanks in advance.....

Cables ties to group cables of common origin/destination together, power seperate from audio etc.

OK thanks - I've got some cable ties, velcro on the way. Also some sort of re-useable tape. Its all new to me this so its ad lib which is why I leave some odd posts on the forum...

From another company a cable protector 2 of these 1 metre in length to avoid stepping on them. Then i'll just have to see what I can do......including utilising as shorter as cable as possible for some connections - A real hassle and not enjoyable but I'm on with it now when everything arrives------------

Also have a digital camera.......... :P ...... I'm no photographer, honest, but I'll get some pics of things and now I've got the hang of paint a little more it shouldn't be too difficult to get pics online for opinions etc.....

Naturally the sooner this is done the better as its really got nothing to do with trying to be creative with music but the home studio environment......which is imortant buts its the butt pain of it all.... :)

go snakes whenever you can they are worth the money. I have had such a spaghetti mess behind my gear and it's a disaster when you try and reconfigue.
