Hi,
Would there be a chance the good people at Sonic Core would consider converting their synths and fx over to Rack Extensions for Reason 6.5?????
Would be nice......

One of the benifits of Open-SCOPE is the ability of ANY DAW developer to code into their DAW the SCOPE Platform. Parseq will be the first DAW to have SCOPE Platform integrated into it. Sonic Core does'nt seem interested in DAW building for SCOPE but rather interested in codeing SCOPE so that other DAW developers (Cakewalk, Steinberg, Propellerheads, etc) can intergrate SCOPE into their DAW's if they wish. Your request of integrating SCOPE into Reason 6.5 is actually part of what Open-SCOPE is all about

, but the onus for SCOPE integration is on the DAW developers not S|C. S|C main focus seems to be making it possible, S|C main focus seems to be providing the tools/building-blocks that allows others to build the SCOPE Platform rather then doing all the secondary things themselves. Atleast that's how it appears to me.
It would be a good idea if you asked Propellerheads to do this. SCOPE users will need to ask some DAW developers to do the integration of SCOPE and explain to them the benifits.

I imagine it would need to be a third party developer using OpenScope to produce Rack Extension plugins. So that developer would need to know the coding rules of both - OpenScope and Rack Extensions.

Is it really coming ?
I once signed up for a newsletter, never received one.
Going to the website,- no changes since month,- says "in progress" ...
Visiting TNWOM forums ... SPAM ...
That said,- I´d love it would become reality and works.
In addition and if all will happen, it might come w/ Rewire anyway.
Is there any unofficial news on ParseQ ?

I have not heard any recent news on Parseq. But i don't doubt it's comming. Sonic Core owns the TNWOM forum and S|C have never been the type to do alot of talking on forums so it's no surprise to me that TNWOM is'nt attended to much by them. I wish they did answer a few more questions there but it's not them. Julian owns Audiobisquit which is the company that's developing Parseq, Julian also works for Sonic Core and i think both Julian and the rest of Sonic Core wants a DAW for SCOPE and realize how important it is for SCOPE and bringing it into the future. I think Sonic Core knows that they have to get the ball rolling with SCOPE integration into DAW's and not wait on the major DAW companies who may not be interested if they don't see a advantage (Steinberg, Cakewalk, Propellerheads, etc). Parseq serves as 'Proof of concept' and shows the advantages of SCOPE integration into a DAW and those advantages will grow as Parseq and SCOPE grows more developed. I think Parseq is immensely needed to attract other DAW developers and i'm sure Sonic Core and Audiobisquit sees this too. When i talked to Julian in a email he seemed very happy about Parseq and stated "it's about time SCOPE gets a DAW" and acknowledged how great this was. Julian knows the importance and seemed excited about it from my view. But Julian also is like the rest of Sonic Core and is not that talkative on forums and emails.
Their motto seems to be "we don't talk much on forums cause we're about actions not words"

..
I can live with them being far more developing focused than communicative and socializing. As long as they deliver the goods i'm happy.

Ah OK "Open Scope" for other companies to take the initiative to develop and it open to them now...... I didn't realise.......
Sometimes I just start to think it would be nice if say Uknow synth or Ez synth was available for Synapse-Audio Orion (for example) a great software (not a big big name) with a number of synths included so they could add to the list of them (I think) sort of "dreaming" about certain possibilities.......
