How2 Turn Off Auto Insert Notification in Win2K

Someone posted a message on this site saying it's impossible to turn off auto insert notification in windows 2000. This is a bald faced lie. I'm sorry... this is not correct. I found out how to to it at:

Please note the instructions say you have to log off for it to take effect but I had to reboot.

Windows 2000/XP

Run the Registry Editor (REGEDIT.EXE).
Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetServicesCdrom.
Double-click the Autorun value, and type 0 for its value. (If it's not there, create it by selecting Edit -> New -> DWORD Value, and typing "Autorun" for its name.)
You may have to log out and then log back in for this change to take effect.

it was me that lied. but there's no 'standard' menu for that or so, like there is in W98. i disabled it using Xteq tweak app.
