I've been having a problem with accessing presets for Pulsar devices from sites such as Planet Z- I can't get the device to recognise them.
Any ideas?
I'm running 2.0.1 on a G4.
Thanks

I have the same problem, I think it may have something to do with file attributes... which might be fixed using HexEdit or maybe File Type. I haven't had the chance to try it myself. best of luck.

Subject: Presets on Mac

Hi,
That seems to be a Mac problem. When I open them with Stufft Expander I cant get it woring but if I use ZipIt the files works just fine. Thats works for me on both Mac OS 9.04 and 9.1.

Dennis

Stuffit expander treats the downloaded files like some obscure UNIX format and further processes them.... you will probably see two expanded files and the second file will have the number 1 appended to it.. Delete this and use the smaller, unprocessed file.... I got tired of it happening so started to use ShrinkWrap to process the files instead of Stuffit...

Subject: zip

I used to have the same problem. I even sent an emil to the guy who runs this site, I forget his name. He did reply and said that I didn't need any special permission to download.
Anyway, I installed NetZip from Real and everything opens right up.
I'm just starting to learn that the file extentions of all Windows files have very specific ways of being treated.
