Hi do you remember what the size of the dsub connector is? I just bought some 3 row 26pin connectors but they are too small.

EDIT: never mind shouldn't have judged the size without unplugging first :) Same size, 'DA', as the original. Time to get to soldering as these dropouts are driving me up the wall when trying to work.

I'm sorry for such a noob question, but is it possible to make custom breakout cable with balanced I/O for Project card (RCA ver)?

AFAIK,- no.
For balanced I/O the DSP card needs a PRO-plate vs. the Classic (unbal. RCA audio) plate.
There´s a special chip providing electronically balanced audio I/O on the pro-plate.

I think you're re right, probably there's few more OPAs and other components for balanced outputs :cry:
