I´m having a problem with that §$%&/#* direct sound source device, it never worked as it is supposed to do. With former pulsar versions, at least all the sounds came in, but with a pretty uncool latency. In V3, the latency´s become better for those progs/games that work properly, but not all progs get along with that device. Sounds come in turns incredibly highpitched, torn into pieces, stuttering, distorted, in one word: completely CRAPPY. As long as this device does not work in a reliable way, I will still have to keep my Terratec DMX in my machine along with my Pulsarboards, and therefore I´m not able to extend my system any more, but I´d really like having a syncplate in there, and some additional I/Os if possible, maybe in form of a TripleDAT-card. When will there be a working directsound-device?!? I´m waiting for things to improve... it´s just that tiny piece of failure that keeps me from extending. GRMBLFTZ!
