Scope5.1 (PCI): no PC delays

Hi,
I have a quite peculiar problem:
Scope cannot produce any Delay Fx anymore, like all the Fx in the Scope/Devices/Effects/ Stereo or Mono/Delay folder.
same with Modular: PC delays are silent, only the dry portion of sound is heard.
Dsp delays (Flanger, Phaser etc.) and everything else is ok, as long as no PC delay is involved (eg. SSB Delay).
Because this is only true for my Internet partition, and not for the two other partitions, it has to be some software conflict or so.
I already deinstalled and reinstalled Scope without avail.
I'm on Win7, on the other partitions are Win7 and Xp.
Any ideas?

Make sure you run SCOPE with administrator rights in Win7.

Hi Roy, Wish I could help but sadly I'm not really sure what it could be. Perhaps something in Win 7 registry has become corrupted. I was originally going to say possibly a corrupted dsp file in /app/dsp/ but then saw that you had tried deinstalling and reinstalling Scope so if the previous assumption was true then that should have fixed the issue you are having. Nothing you have recently installed that could be causing it?
Do you have an image backup of your internet partition. Not a fix per se but something that might save some time in the long run but then again it would only be useful if that was taken before when your problem happened.
Sorry that I cant help more, but perhaps garyb or one of the other chaps have run into this issue in the past and might have an idea what to try next, so good luck and hope you manage to sort it out without needing to do a full os install. One other possibility would be to copy the other Win7 partition that is working and overwrite your non working internet partition and then reconfigure it to work with your internet apps again. That might be quicker than doing a full Windows reinstall, but neither are really solutions to your issue but just an idea if all else fails.
Oh and by the way, thanks for releasing the Mooxer device. Very interesting and yet again another great addition to the scope arsenal
Best of luck

You might also try installing with administrator rights...just a guess. I had no-delay issues with ModIV TapeDelay, but the new "release" up on FTP fixed my woes. Are you sure you are installing the correct 32/64 bit version? Just a guess. 32-biut might work in 64 win7, but might also show some oddness...

that's definitely true.
32bit Scope software in a 64bit os won't work correctly and it'd be things like delays that would be most affected.

when destalling and re enstalling
use reg edit to delete the registry of the scope as if you dont it can leave stuff behind and when you renstall its still there

thanks all, it's ok again.
the trick was to make a complete uninstall (hardware + software), and to delete the Scope folder.
strangeness...

When unexplained Ghosts are in your system it means your creations have a soul, so it's all good.
Some time I wake up in the middle of the night as I hear my hard drive SATA array cage winding up, can;t expain it as I shut off the wifi on the Mobo. So I accept it, and learned from watching Celebrity Ghost stories that my rig also has a soul.
For a long time I thought that was an odd show as all celebreites see ghosts, and buy creepy house, etc.
Why don;t I ever see that stuff.
I can imagine sex with a Ghost being as cool as the guy In Cocoon having sex with Raquel Welchs daughter ( who was al alien ), sure looked convincing to me.
