Luna breakout box lead - firewire or not?

Hi all
I have a Luna 2496 unit which is firewire, has been in a box for years part of a deal, no lead or info, is this a standard FW lead? Don't want to plug in to one of my Lunas (2x), in case it blows up (or whatever).
Thanks
Geoff

it is a firewire cable but NOT a firewire connection! the transfer protocol between the luna PCI card and the external luna converter is soni!core proprietary and it is NOT firewire!
do Not connect the luna/luna box output to PC firewire input/output! :)

Thanks, I have not done it yet.
I am not connecting to PC, I have 2 x Lunas and a breakout box.

Thanks for the tips.

Is it colled "Z-link"? My pulsar-2 has 2 outs looks like firewire, so, will Z-box work with it?

they have the same converters as the A16Ultra and the on board cards... if you can find one cheap, get it!
