Scope and Melodyne

Just wondering if any of you guys experienced this.
Okay, I'm just getting back into doing music again and I've
"needed" to use Melodyne. I tried to fix a bass track but
noticed some weird artifacts. Thing is, I've fixed stuff
in the past and not noticed anything. SO.....basically, running
Nuendo 3 in "scope mode" not XTC. Now the problem that dawned on me this morning,
is that if you use Melodyne in rewire or "bridge mode", when you export, it doesn't
export in real time. Which if I recall correctly, you MUST do or you end up with
mangled audio. Can someone confirm this for me please.
Thanks guys!!
