after years of studying, and trying to make ends meet by doing FOH at live concerts+ small time studio recordings here and there......: a decent job!
YEAH! and not just any job! Im doing sound design for commercials and currently doing sound design for the LEGO animated 3d cartoon "ninjago" that you might have seen on tv in the states (its not even here in denmark yet, even though lego is danish). And i have ALOT of episodes of ninjago to do... i do a bit of foley and alot of SFX.

We are finally able to move to a bigger place (used to live - 4 people - two small children and 2 adults) on 365 square feet/34m2 and now finally we have an apartment thats 3 times the size!!!
Just had to share:)

very cool - always nice to read that someone can eventually do for a living what he or she loves...
enjoy the time and build up on it, after all that's a well known brand.

Do you use Scope at work ?

Actually the 2 first episodes have allready been on tv in the states... i didnt do any of those though. But watch out for the next episodes!
And sadly - i dont use the scope card for sound design. We have 4 studios (soon to be 5) with Pro tools HD on mac and all the "normal plugins" waves etc - it has to be the same in all studios so we can take projects around withouth problems.
I do use scope at another studio though.

didnt we all at some point! i LOVED lego when i was a kid... and now i get to play with lego duplo again with my little boy (almost 2 years old) maybe he'll appreciate Ninjago in a couple of years The cycles of life

Earning your way and sacrificing to get you there is a lesson never forgotten either.
The reward is doing what you love for a living, and that to me is worth all of the Tea in China.

Just suggest to upgrade the 5 studio with one small 1 Xite-1 unit ...

One of my boys bedroom is known known as the Lego Room (another one is the Playmobil one).

Congratz to post audio^^ Drinks and paychecks on the left.Horrible shedules and hours on the right. Walk in the middle and enjoy it!
