Recording streaming in Wlab7 via waves drivers doesn't work.

Hi...

I'm using xite-1 and the new SFP 5.1 , 64 bit. In W7, I set the audio output to Xite-1 waves source 1 and I can hear a totaly normal sound (Impossible to use asio drivers in wavelab7 yet). I send it to xite-1 waves dest 1 and set the Wavelab 7 recording input to it. The recorded sound is full of clic and other strange sounds, unhearable... Every thing is at 44.1, 16bit. Even when there is no streaming sound, the pops, cracs, snaps are there !

I used a lot to do it when I was with XP in 32bit and it worked very well. Any idea ? What did I wrong ?

Merci !

I agree I have same issue.

There is a pb with the ASIO and wavelab, ok it's a shared pb between sonic and wavelab and his recognized method.

But for waves drivers it's not this kind of pb it's clearly a bug in the wav drivers, we can't record in wavelab !!!

Why Sonic Core doesn't repair this input wav drivers ?

The Sonic Core 5.1 64bit ave driver is absolute rubbish. There should have been a patch by now to rectify this problem. Can't be that difficult

I have reported this bug back in august (http://forums.planetz.com/viewtopic.php ... 9&start=80) - SC is aware of the problem. According Ralf we might get an update within 2 months time, so I would suggest anyone that want working wave drivers in Win7 64bit to write SC.
