Hi,

I hope im at the right place for my specific questions..
Long ago i bought Triple Dat and had a lot of fun with and dont wanna use something else.
But as you can imagine then at that time....the computer i had it built in was a simple one with Windows 98,sec edition,Pentium 2,96 ram.
That was atleast 15 years ago or so...

But its starting to make noices and i was wondering what my upgrade options are.
- can i get Triple Dat working on....winxp ?....and if so, will i need some addiotional things to get it working ?
- are there upgrades available for my version ?.....or is my 3.06 the latest ?
- I never used the cdr function before, and found out it doesnt see my compaq cr - 587 to record with, but im bot sure if it has a burn function....It doesnt show on the huge list in the cdr list.

Wh can give some advice....and clear questions too all the above..

Thanks

The old triple dat hardware works not under xp. Last system is Win98 or ME.
Later, there was a tripledat-plugin that you can use on scope under win98 and xp...

So if you got old hardware, win98 (me) is the only way to make it run...

Some more answers:
- tripleDAT is an ISA board, so you need a rather old motherboard with ISA slots.
- tripledat 3.06b is the latest and last version - very reliable and stable.
- as far as I can see, the Compaq CR 587 is a CD-ROM, not a burner.

I still use tripleDAT. It is very fast and efficient.
