Looks like I can't have a look at big brother's house (the big brother here in Italy is aka the premier, even owner of mediaset which broadcasts the local "big brother" reality show)
Media talked about 22 millions euro of offshore business here

I've found the place using Google Earth. It's MUDDY BAY in Antigua island.
I can see nothing... why does Google Earth miss high res images there?

Are you asking why I wanna see?
I wish the best sat res for that; it could be way better than big brother and celebrity survivors formats blended togheter :D

I forget to state that "more/geographic features/water bodies" has to be checked in layers for muddy bay label to be displayed.
Coordinates are 17-5-7.96 N 61-41-39.46 O (degrees-first-seconds; system returns a fatal error if I try to use special chars)

no, i was being sarcastic about why you can't see that area. i'll just expalin it to you.

you are not important, therefore your area is under scrutiny. these people are important, therefore their privacy is well protected. see? simple. :)

I don't know. What I can see is: I can have a look at the houses in most of Antigua (which is kind of "taxes paradise") but there are many points hidden, by clouds or by low res imagery, like muddy bay.
Is it Google hiding things, or does the imagery that Google can give us to browse is just that?
I just don't know. I can just check World Wind, but...
I wouldn't expect Google being 100% clean in this world though.

I should have to guess what you meant. :)
Sorry, probably I've just took the wave to surf saying other things.
About the thing I said I should add now... the celebrity survivors reality show here is called island of the famous people :D

This one more reason why I feel the need to see.

Perhaps you guys should read about why China wants Google out of their country.
The NSA is the most advanced completely funded spy agency in history.
Google the NSA + Google. They're partners.
Once they got permission to make maps, what's to stop them from attaching some harmless wireless communication satellites.

Evidence of Dubai's 'hedonism' and decay? Imo there's nothing different to any ponzy scheme run elsewhere...once everyone's got their cash who cares about the infrastructure?

Do you mean your zone has low res imagery too?
Here around (Eolie Islands... Salina, Vucano) images are not hi res, but still good for 3Km alt. view.
That zone of Antigua is covered with images suitable for 20 Km alt. max

Imagery of my zone is dated 2006 (of course, even images for 2001, 2002 and 2007 are available enabling the related feature)

If Google is working with security agencies on intelligence purposes, probably they're having lot of works these days to better focus what's happening in North Africa
