hard to track activity on Z these days with just a few political threads being active.

I was over in Jordan doing a gig for the ambassador of Japan in Jordan. But in the process meeting lots of JICA (japanese version of peace corps), and UNRWA, which is the module in the UN responsible for supporting Palestinians.

Without opening up the UN can of worms (and the Palestinian one with it), I'd like to comment on what role my music played.. The concert was great, with a singer from Japan that sang traditional Japanese children's songs and other covers, also a couple of our own message tunes. We started the band so that we could create music that brought people together for the public good, and there we were, 5 years later, bringing international foreign affairs diplomats together through the music. It was a great accomplishment, and it felt good.

I have the footage from the actual performance, including my screwpups and all. lol.. anyway, that's coming soon, so stay tuned.

It was great visiting the Palestinian refugee camps, however controversial they may be, and also spending some time with the kindergardeners.. Jordan has something that was strangely familiar, and without getting into politics, it was a nostalgic experience for me, coming from a former developing country, Taiwan. Apart from the political position Palestinians take up as a whole, the kids still face a very real problem.. and it is very unfortunate that the world fails to discern between those two issues.
