Available on the FTP the new version of Scope 5.1 RC2, with some improvements. I can not prove within the next two weeks, I'm visiting my hometown (Valencia, Spain). In the text that is in the ftp explains the improvements and what can not be done yet.I note that now the XTC mode can be tested in 32-bit DAWs ... what next must be for 64-bit DAWs. Good for Sonic Core. Do we have final version by the end of 2010?.

Is everyone downloading at once, or is there a problem with the server?

downloaded it yesterday. tried installing it on an xp32 machine. says its only for 64bit. so how does xtc mode work in 32bit??

this is still only the beta for x64 operating systems.
XTC works if you use a 32 bit host (i.e. cubase x32)
running on a 64 bit OS (like win7 x64)

the 5.1 32 bit version (for a 32 bit OS) will be released when the 64 bit beta is over.

Do not explain well what the XTC mode operation, and as Julian said, is for 32-bits host running on a 64-bits operating system. I am sorry not to have put right.

ok - let's hear it boys. Is this new 64bit SCOPE 5.1 RC2 working better than the current 32-bit version from last december?

Or put in other words, would it make any sense upgrading my windows to 64 bit - or should I hold my horses a bit longer?

very nice that sonic-core supports 64 bit OSes now. I can begin to use my lovely Creamware systems again!
Do you know if beta program and ftp for downloading are public, open to all scope users ?

Best bet: Download the software, install it, and send the request key to support. They will most likely send you a temporary key (150 hours), price of upgrade is discussed in other threads, but no official upgrade path/price for the 64bit software is announced yet.

I just downloaded it to try it out using...

Once you used the right password sent to you in the last email, you will see the dual screen.
Just drag and drop from the right side screen to the left side screen which should be your C Drive location.
I just finally finished testing RC1 and was pleased.
Only a couple of small debacles.
I wish some other guys w/ XITE-1's had time to check this out for us.
I am a little nervous about changing anything for a couple of weeks still.

It's a 64 bit version ! Great ! I just need to install W7 now !

I've been running RC2 on Xite since it was released, and haven't had a ton of time to hard-test some things, but everything is running great here.

A little search on the forum finds the original post from SC
