I/O expansion question **Help needed**

Hi I'm new to this forum, hope I've posted this in the right section.
My question is this, I have a Scope Project pulsar 2 card with classic I/O and need and extra analog output so I can run my softsynths through a guitar pedal. My motherboard has only 1 standard PCI slot so I dont think an extra card is an option. I'm looking for the cheapest option if there is one. I cant afford an A16 and anyway it would be a bit of a waste as I only need 1 output.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Careful with that ADA8000 - it only has XLR outputs. You're gonna need a DI with that! Apart from that, best AD/DA per $ ever!

actually, you just need an adaptor, xlr to balanced 1/4". the outputs, while balanced xlr, are line level. no DI box required....

well, if he's looking for the cheapest solution for just one channel it's an old digital recorder connected by S/PDIF. DAT and DCC tapes are a few bucks today and some have really good converters...

cheers, Tom
