I have some new ASIO.dll and updated XITE-1 exe. but I cannot seem to download and need an ftp.
I have GoFTP and used it last time and it worked.
This time I really am in a hurry to get this working for tonight since it has a fix for Kontakt/VSTi's that will allow me to run at super low latency w/o crackledge.
Any tips on how this works would be appreciated.

Your regular web browser (IE, FF,..) should be ftp-capable, just the same! Only for uploading and generally manipulating files over ftp you need a 'dedicated' ftp client.

I have the access and permission.
I am reading the help section but as usual it sounds greek to me.
I was able to download the text documents made on 9/09/2010, but the new exe. and asio.dll are what I am after and therein lies the prolblem.
There are no examples step by step on how to use it.
I have tried copy/paste and every trick in the book I can do by the process of elimination in the drop down menus.
I should have taken computer classes 5 years ago instead of learning by mistakes.

maybe you have to set the client to binary transfer ?

can't you just copy/paste?
if you need an ftp client there's always this one:
http://www.smartftp.com/ you can use it free for 30 days, after that it's a one time nominal charge. they have clear instructions with videos. you could also just watch the videos, since your client is probably similar.

Finally got it........
Ever since my 64bit machine was built I keep forgetting to remind the S|C guys I am not 32bit.
GoFtp works fine now too.
I saved the link to " My Favorites " and followed the instructions I found that weren't on the mirrored site.
I am chillin' now with the new ASIO.dll and checking out the other fixes.
The newest 5.1.2707 version is up as of 9/10.
