Midi lag processor

Hi,
Is there any way of 'slewing' the MIDI signals coming from an external input? I'm trying to eliminate the 'zippering' effect of low resolution MIDI CC messages when controlling Scope synths.
Cheers!

there is an internal dezip device which is used in some synths, i do not think you could dezip before the midi input though, because there will still only be 128 bits resolution no matter when it gets changed.

Even though there are only 128 steps, most controllers (either faders or rotaries) 'jump' from one value to another e.g. from value zero to 20 to 65 to 80 to 127. Some sort of 'delay' or 'filter' would allow the steps to smoothly go from one value to another.

there are a number of midi patch bays that happily do such functions(delaying the midi stream). Jimmy has one...

not exactly what you are looking for but you could do worse than trying out the free cc5 from spacef.

I haven't tried it yet but it seems exactly what I'm looking for. Cheers, NtN!
