Nice... But some explainations would be welcome..

I assign asio & waves to dsp 2, right ?
Dsp 3 -> 6 are here only to communicate ?
Devices like mixers, mod IV, synth should be assigned to 11 -> 18 in priority ?
And 7->9 are communication also, should I assign them devices lastly ?

if you go to the xite section on the xited forum there is some explanation. dsp assignment is only needed with third party stuff that hasn't been optimised is my understanding.

The mixers with "X" in the name should already be optimized. However, if you ever do need...place the mixers on DSP 7-10. Those DSPs are not only fast/new, but also have lots of direct communication to the I/O DSPs (1 & 2). Something a Mixer might need. Other devices would then go on DSP 11 - 18. This is all only true IF you need to manually assign DSPs.

Also keep devices that are on the same slot close going into the mixer. I wish there was a decoder ring for how mixer channels get spread across DSPs. That would help place devices into slots accordingly, and minimize SAT errors.

The efficient way I use the XITE-1 DSP power is to hae the STM2448 loaded totally blank.
Then Call in all synths like B2003, and Vecton.
Then add 2 Modular Synths, and a Modular Leslie Enhancer.
All Modular patches can be assigned a DSP and remember it's assignment, not just only from the project saved, but until you clear, or re assign the DSP, it will go to say DSP 14, everytime you load it.

Now call up the particular Mixer preset packed with effects, and they will actually find their own placements and work around what you have loaded.
This works really well for me.

If you only need routing of audio, and 6 bus, 6 aux design.
Take the old DAS freebie from XITEd.org and load it to DSP 3/4/5 or 6 of the old Sharcs. Have VDAT on 2, and I/Os are usually on 1 anyways.
Now you can't load effects into the mixer internally, but using Modalar Inserts inside of Mod Shells, you can load them everywhere, and then load tons of Modular synths, etc.
Assign them wherever you want.
You have 11-18 now for synth city...

Does this mean that when you're done, and you want to save the project, that you have to 'blank out' the STM mixer by loading in a 'blank' preset, so that its not packed with the effects next time you load the whole project (which would therefore change the DSP load sequence) ?

Negative, there's plenty of room for saving, actually 7/8/9/10 fill up and even spill over to 11/13/and 18 depending on how many effects I have loaded.
On every synth I have a Limiter ( stock ) as I don't need the SpaceF or DAS just yet.
Simple volume control for the differences from preset to preset on hardware vrs. DSP synths.
Then I have DAS Legends, FAT II-Ss, and Adern Sat sprinkled accordingly.
Surprisingly I don't need anything for Kontakt Instruments. Splashes of Verbs at most.
Then the SpaceF and DAS Brickwall in the Master Effects. The DAS is really cool for mid side & smooth slopes, and Brickwall Limiting with a little EQ from SpaceF's Limiter works magnificiently.
The Project Prest list is only for MIDI Filter controls. Sequencer MIDI Source module needs to be toggled off and on sometime, or the Sequencer MIDI Destination, hardware MIDI out, etc. It's the only way I know of to give psuedo presets to a device with no presets...

Yes I remember your previous mentions of project preset list....well done ! Cant imagine any keyboard player not wanting it.
